MAYACAMAS VINEYARDS

“It’s historic. It’s classic. It’s perfect as is. Have at it.”

The Mayacamas winery was originally built in 1889. It survived Prohibition, neglect and the "Judgement of Paris." Today it is arguably the last man standing from California’s glory days. The wines are, as they’ve always been, legendary for their longevity. (The ‘68 vintage drinks beautifully even now.) Everything about the place tells you it was built for the long haul. So what the heck were we doing messing with the logo? That’s what we were wondering when we were commissioned for a redesign. Our effort at refining and preserving the mark is still under consideration. What do you think about it?
